As the lead designer for The Orthopaedic Institute of Western Kentucky (OIWK), I spearheaded the rebranding initiative aimed at revitalizing the institute’s visual identity to better reflect its position as the region’s largest and most advanced provider of musculoskeletal care. The goal was to create a modern, professional brand that conveyed trust, expertise, and accessibility to both new and existing patients.
Project Overview:
The Orthopaedic Institute of Western Kentucky has been serving the community since 2009, founded by Dr. Brian S. Kern, Dr. K. Brandon Strenge, and the late Dr. Clint P. Hill. With rapid growth, including the expansion of a Main Clinic, Therapy Center, and Surgery Center, the institute needed a refreshed brand identity that aligned with its reputation for providing high-quality orthopedic care rivaling that found in larger cities.
Outcome:
The rebranding successfully positioned The Orthopaedic Institute of Western Kentucky as a forward-thinking leader in regional orthopedic care. The updated logo and visual identity not only enhanced brand recognition but also communicated the institute’s commitment to providing accessible, top-tier medical services to its patients. This comprehensive rebrand strengthened the institute’s market presence and set a solid foundation for its continued growth and success in the community.
