This project is a 3D-printed replica of The Jeweled Horn of Dagoth, a legendary artifact from Conan the Destroyer (1984). According to the Scrolls of Skelos, a marked virgin was to embark on a treacherous quest to retrieve the key to the temple where this horn was kept. Once obtained, a sacrificial ritual would awaken the sleeping god, Dagoth. Yep, cool enough to make a replica of.
This commissioned piece was created for a collector in the Chicago area and stands approximately 11 inches tall. It was modeled using Blender and Illustrator, ensuring accurate detail and ornate embellishments. The 4-color 3D print was produced on a Bambu X1 Carbon printer, with additional hand-painting and custom-cut gem placements to enhance its authenticity and visual appeal. The piece showcases a blend of fantasy craftsmanship and modern fabrication techniques, making it a stunning display of artistry and technical expertise. Was completed late 2024.
